all party packages.
Sorry we don’t offer games or balloon making, we feel you are paying
for pony rides. Our ponies come already saddled and ready to go when they
get out of the trailer.

If it is raining or snowing on the day of your event, Vani will call to verify if she should still come. If you should cancel at that time, there is no additional fee due. The $50 deposit is refunded in full due to bad weather only. If you tell Vania to come and THEN you cancel and Vania has already arrived at your event, there will be a $100 late cancellation fee due and the deposit is non refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS!
We reserve the right to cancel any schedualed pony party do to bad weather, rains, snow high winds and the mud. We live in the country and during the rain it makes it impossible at times for us to get out of our own property. Your deposit will be refunded. We just don’t refund if you just decide to cancel.

this activity. The undersigned assumes full risk and responsibility and releases
Vania’s Ponies , Vania Rogers, and her contractors or helpers from liability
for any cause whatsoever for any injuries that incurred before, during or
after pony rides / cart rides from any cause. We do bring along helmets for
your use. We can’t make the kids wear them but we do recommend them.

1. Payment is due the day of the event. Payment may be cash or check. Sorry,
no credit cards. Returned checks will be subject to a minimum $50.00 returned
check fee and up to the maximum allowed under CO law. Please write your checks
to Pony Rides USA
2. Deposit: The $50 deposit is non-refundable FOR ANY REASON unless the party
is canceled due to verified bad weather the day of the party. Deposit may
be applied to a reschedule date based on the Contractor's availability if
the party was canceled by bad weather. The deposit is non-refundable if you
decide to cancel the party. Please read our Bad Weather Policy below.
3. Dog Policy: Please keep all dogs inside or put away for the duration of
the event. If there is a loose dog, the pony will be stopped until the dog
is put away. Excited dogs charging the pony, nipping the pony's heels, etc.
are a SERIOUS safety hazard. This is for the safety of the children and the
dog. Our ponies will kick your dog(s).
4. Weight Limit for the ponies is as follows: Toosdae , 60lbs; Precious, 80lbs;
Rosie 90lbs. If you have larger kids (weight wise) we can bring our small
halflinger and she has NO weight limit. We will need to know this before the
party. We also recommend the cart if you have kids that are not able to mount
on a larger pony safety with out our help.
5. Double Riding: There is ABSOLUTELY NO double riding. This is a serious
safety risk.
6. Working Surfaces: Ponies may work on grass, dirt, sidewalk, tarmac but
NOT on rocks, sand or steep slopes. Ponies cannot work on any area that has
been chemically treated (fertilizer or insecticide) within the past 7 days
due to the danger to the animals.
7. Hand Washing/Sanitation: Pony Rides USA supplies hand-sanitizer at all
events. Please make soap and water available for all guests in addition to
the sanitizer.
8. Eating/Drinking/Toys: There is ABSOLUTELY NO eating or drinking or holding
items in or around the petting zoo or while riding the ponies.
9. Wet Bathing Suits: If you are also having a water slide / pool party on
the day of your event, please make sure that all of the children are dry before
riding the pony. Wet bathing suits will not be allowed on the saddle. Daycares
please have the child provide a towel.
10. Clean Up: Pony Rides USA is responsible for the removal of any and all
feces from the animals.
11. BAD WEATHER POLICY: Pony Rides USA will not perform outdoors in heavy
rain or lightning or snow. Client may reschedule (deposit applied to new date
and pending availability) or cancel due to verified bad weather (deposit refunded

A note about having ponies around children...
Screaming, barking dogs and traffic are normal day time experiences for them!
Although they are very safe, they are animals, with minds of their own. It
is best to have low key activities going on to keep the anxious riders busy!
Each child should be able to ride for approx. 8 min - We may even get mom
on!
Basic rules for being around any horse or pony:
Remind the children not to crowd the pony upon arrival, our ponies need a
few minutes to adjust to its surroundings and feel comfortable. We at times
might arrive early but we DO NOT start till the time you originally asked.
If for any reason you want us to start early then we end early.

Try to have an area specifically for the rides where the children won't be
running through – it’s just safer.
Do not walk behind them. Do not run approaching them and watch your feet to
avoid accidentally being stepped on.
Party Games and Ideas!
* Pan for Gold - bury pennies in a sand box and let the kids sift through
with pie pans to find the "gold" (punch holes in pie pans to allow
sand but not pennies to fall through).
* Hide small prizes in the hay for the kids to search for!
* Pin the Tail on the Pony, Pin the Hat on the Cowgirl, Pin the Mustache on
the Outlaw, Pin the Kiss on the Cowboy... -Creative versions of Pin the Tail
on the Donkey! * 3 Legged Race and Sack Race

* Pass the Rattle Snake - A unique version of hot potato. Play country music
as you pass a rubber/plastic snake. Whoever is left holding the snake when
the music stops is bitten and is out!
* Egg Hunt - This was a creative mom... A chicken went crazy and laid eggs
all over the yard. Send the kids out to find them! Use plastic eggs with candy
etc... inside.
* Round-up - Set up a short trail with obstacles. Make 2 teams. Each team
gets a broom and a balloon. The first team to have all team members "drive"
the balloon through the course wins. Have extra balloons ready in case one
pops (that person goes back to start over).
* Ask all the guests to come dressed in western theme clothing * Make "Wanted"

* Copy a coloring book horse and let the kids color and decorate their own
with yarn, glitter, cotton etc... to take home
