My horses page 7

This is littel ole Irma. I took her in. I agreed to try to help to be in less pain. She is foundered, meaning her hooves cured forward making her rotate her coffen bone. I will find more medical term and post it. It's just all on my other pc. I am working very close with my Farrier and when we first started she was very to trim because she was in paind and hardly moved. Now that she is starting to feel better it takes a couple of use to lay her on the ground while the farrier does her feet. I need to get shoeing stocks but they are hard to find here in Colorado.

Irma is really sweet and just wants a friend. I have gotten her to a point where she always leads. I believe she is either 3 or 5 years old. I am hoping someday I can get her trainned enough to pull a cart. I will most likley never drive her but just giver her a chance to pull it around and feel important. I believe all horses should have a purpose in life. I think she will love the attention, as long as nobody trys to touch her ears.
